Wowman Construction Company considers the safety of employees and the public with the upmost diligence in all our Company Operations. Our Project Compliance procedures enforces stringent adherence to all building regulations pertaining to the prevention of accidents, and the identification and elimination of potential hazards or dangerous situations. The Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1983) are strictly enforced in all projects whether they are large or small. Staff at all levels of our company are made accountable for safe and efficient work practises during the rendering of projects.
All performances are subject to Safety Performances, and examples are set from the highest levels of the Company.

Company Safety Protocols
- Management promotes safety awareness through safety educational programmes and enforcing active participation in the Company’s Loss Control Program and safety activities.
- We issue all staff with personal protective equipment as required and applicable and enforce its use as a condition of employment.
- The installation and maintenance of all safeguards as required at all construction sites.
- Our Site Safety Manager is qualified to detect, and prompt correction of un-safe practices and conditions and regular safety inspections are carried out during the period of the construction project.
- He/she will enforce established regulations and apply disciplinary action necessary to assure compliance by all employees.
- Reporting of all accidents is done by the completion of accident event reports, and it is followed through by a prompt and thorough investigation.
- Training and education of all personnel are continuous with special attention given to new employees.
